A commemorative event dedicated to the 99th anniversary of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was held on April 28 at Educational Complex 132-134.

On April 26, with the participation of the 6^th grade students, an open lesson on the topic “The importance of traffic signs for road safety” and an interesting team quiz was organized at the Educational Complex 132-134, in order to promote road safety rules, also to test the knowledge of learners in this area.

On April 14, the traditional “France Day” was held at the Educational Complex 132-134.

Mr. Zakari Gross, French Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilgar Dadashov, Head of the International Relations Sector of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Vazeh Askerov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan-French University, Mr. Mehman Karimov, Head of the Marketing Department of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan, Ms. Gulbaniz Jamalova, coordinator of French language at the Institute of Education, Chairman of APFAZ, Ms. Azelma Hasanova, associate professor of the German-French department of Baku State University, as well as representatives of the Executive Power of Sabail district and other invited guests took part in the event.

Today, Educational Complex 132-134 and Mars Academy company, that offers professional training in Robotics, Programming, Engineering and Digital Arts, jointly organized a master class on “Web programming” on the occasion of April 12 – the World’s Aviation and International Cosmonautics Day.

During the master class, expert trainers from Mars Academy delivered effective training sessions on Basics of Web Development & Coding Specialization for the 7th , 8th and 9th grade students of Educational Complex 132-134.

On April 08, the 2^nd grade students got acquainted with libraries at the Educational Complex 132-134.

Librarians informed their new readers about libraries’ main rules, activities, resources, textbooks, as well as masterpieces of national and world literature, stored in three comprehensive libraries at the Educational Complex 132-134.

On April 5, the 6^th-grade students of the Educational Complex 132-134, made a presentation of their research project on “Azerbaijan’s National Parks and State Nature Reserves”. The project was realized under the guidance of Ms. Rubaba Samadova, Biology teacher.

Students made presentations on the following National Parks and State Nature Reserves in a team format, based on the results of the project research:

1) Team 1: Zagatala and Basitchay State Nature Reserves;

2) Team 2: Ilisu and Garayazi State Nature Reserves;

3) Team 3: Goygol National Park and Ismayilli State Nature Reserve;

4) Team 4: Kyzylagach National Park and Garagol State Nature Reserve;

5) Team 5: Shirvan and Shahbuz State Nature Reserves;

6) Team 6: Turyanchay and Pirgulu State Nature Reserves.

During presentations, students gave detailed information about the history, natural resources, fauna and flora of each National Park and State Nature Reserve.
