The “GreenX” team of the Educational Complex 132-134 is successfully participating at the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Festival

The “GreenX” team of the Educational Complex 132-134 is successfully participating at the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival held in Azerbaijan for the first time this year.

“GreenX” team, consisting of 5 people, has successfully passed all previous selection levels among over 100 teams and qualified for the finals with the “FreshAir” project at the Festival, held in Baku on May 26-29. The mentor of the team is Mrs. Rubaba Samadova – biology teacher Educational Complex 132-134.

The Teknofest Aerospace and Technology Festival has been held annually in Turkey since 2018 by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey, as well as the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation). Azerbaijan participated in the Teknofest Festival for the first time in 2021. The holding of the Technology Festival in Azerbaijan for the first time outside Turkey is another manifestation of the friendly, fraternal and strategic alliance between the two countries.

The main culminating event of this Festival is to hold various contests and competitions among schoolchildren, students, startups and entrepreneurs.

At the festive event, Complex students performed the literary and artistic composition on the theme “Our independence is eternal, irreversible, indestructible! Long live strong, independent Azerbaijan!”

Traffic safety education at the school level is meant to provide the students with lifetime skills for maneuvering in the public roads and highways.

Our IB students were awarded with the Certificate of Honorable Delegates at International Model United Nations Conference

On 21-22 May, ADA School hosted International Model United Nations Conference.
Almost 250 students from 18 public and private schools took part in this remarkable event. That was a huge experience for school students to discuss and debate about such global problems as migration, climate change, environmental disasters and pollution, economic crises, starvation, diseases, drug trafficking, human rights violations, etc.
Our IB students Leyla Haqverdiyeva and Fateh Ahmad were awarded with the Certificate of Honorable Delegates.

Complex students performed the literary and artistic composition, named “As long as independent Azerbaijan exists, the people of Azerbaijan exist, Heydar Aliyev will live in people’s hearts”.

On May 10, the first lessons in primary classes were dedicated to the 99th anniversary of National Leader Haydar Aliyev. Teachers and students paid tribute to the memory of National Leader Haydar Aliyev.

Highlighting the exceptional services of National Leader Haydar Aliyev in the history of national statehood of Azerbaijan, teachers expressed confidence that the bright memory of National Leader, the savior of Azerbaijan will live forever in people’s hearts.

The 1st grade students visited the “Great Leader Haydar Aliyev” Museum at Educational Complex 132-134 and honored memory of National Leader.

Educational Complex 132-134 hosted event “DEAR SHUSHA, YOU ARE FREE!”.

Event was held on May 6 and a documentary film “Shusha, you are free!” was screened for the students. The film includes interviews with brave Azerbaujan soldiers and officers who carried out the victorious Shusha operation, as well as exclusive footage taken during the operation.

History teachers Ms. Samadova Tunzala, Ms. Khalilova Parvana and Mr. Abdullayev Elshan delivered memorable speeches, informing students about the history of Karabakh and Shusha city, its geographical significance and mental value for Azerbaijan people. It was mentioned that this year Shusha welcomed the 8th of May as a proud and victorious city and November 8 will forever remain in the history of Azerbaijan as the day of our glorious victory.

The educational project “Save water every time!” was presented by the members of the “Small Academy” at the Educational Complex 132-134

Like every year, this year too, members of the “Small Academy” at the Educational Complex 132-134, has presented various research projects.

Working in 5 teams during a month, the 8th grade students explored such topics as water resources management, water saving etc. The research results were presented by interesting layouts. The project was realized under supervision of biology teacher Mrs. Rubaba Samadova.

On May 6, the educational project “Save water every time!” was presented by the members of the “Small Academy” on the topics management of water resources, economical and efficient use of water etc.

Based on the results of the research, students made presentations on the following topics:

Team 1: ” The most important natural resource of the Earth – Water ”

Team 2: ” Long and small natural water cycles ”

Team 3: ” Problems caused by water scarcity”

Team 4: “5 reasons why saving water is important”

Team 5: ” The Water in You: Water and the Human Body ”

The students discussed the topics, made interesting presentations and demonstrated models, posters, booklets they prepared.
